EARNING THE CIC DESIGNATION
The CIC designation is earned by attending five, two-day institutes. At the conclusion of each institute, a rigorous examination must be passed. You must take five of the seven CIC institutes, and pass five examinations, within five calendar years after passing the first exam (for example: If you pass your first CIC exam in June 2015, you must pass five exams by December 31, 2020).
