Young Agents

About this Membership

Young agents who work for an MAIA member agency are automatically considered part of the Young Agents of Missouri group. Young agents are defined as those who are 40 and under.

Simply put, Young Agents are the future of what the insurance industry will be. We will strive to push the envelope of what the industry is and push it to what it can be. We hope to provide a network of agency and company peers with different backgrounds and experiences. Responsible agency principals should be asking, “Who’s next in my agency?”

How Much are Dues?

There are no separate fees to be a Young Agent member.

Young Agents Committee

MAIA maintains a standing committee that consists solely of young agents. The Missouri Young Agents Committee believes in strength through involvement and offers opportunities for young agents to develop leadership skills, participate in legislative issues, train for sales and management needs and communicate ideas with highly motivated, sharp-minded people.

The committee’s focus is to identify and develop the the next top producer in your agency, the next rock star CSR, the next manager or principal of your agency, the next generation of MAIA board members.
