MAC Summit

The Missouri Agents Connection Summit (MAC Summit) was designed to offer unmatched networking and collaboration opportunities to all agents, including those in management positions, producers and young agents.
The conference provides education sessions focusing on topics like agency management, sales techniques, etc. You’ll also find plenty of networking activities, including a trade show, cornhole tournament and golf tournament.
Finally, the pinnacle of the conference, MAIA installs new officers and awards outstanding independent agents in Missouri at the Awards and Installation Banquet. Please consider joining your fellow independent agents at the MAC Summit.
Young Agents, apply to receive a scholarship for the MAC Summit.
The scholarship consists of a full registration fee for the MAC Summit and two nights’ hotel stay.
Must be a first-time attendee and a young agent.

Conference Dress Code
Attire for the entire conference is business casual, except for the President’s Cocktail Reception and Installation Banquet, which are semiformal, and Wednesday activities, which are casual.

Myrna Estrada
“WEWIN Brunch & Panel”
Myrna is a senior vice president and field executive for Liberty Mutual Insurance. She has the privilege of leading 78 sales professionals in a six-state footprint known as the Central Region. She has held several roles throughout her 40-year career and managed several teams. She joined distribution in 1998 and grew a $350 million book of personal and small commercial business to $3.5 billion today. She is proud of her financial metrics, but even more proud of the culture she has created in the region. She manages a leadership team of 10 highly engaged people leaders. Myrna is also involved in diversity, equity and inclusion work within Liberty Mutual and is on the council for Men as Allies. She recently joined the DEI board for the Independent Insurance Agents and Brokers of America. She is also on the board for the Texas Conference for Women and the North Texas Commission DEI Council. Myrna lives in North Texas. She has two sons, a daughter and two granddaughters.

Jim Morris
“Dream Makers”
Jim Morris was a high school science teacher and coach in west Texas who miraculously made it the major leagues at the age of 35. His life story made
cinematic history with the heartwarming and unforgettable Disney movie, “The Rookie,” starring Dennis Quaid. Jim pitched two seasons for the Tampa Bay Devil Rays, reaching speeds up to 102 mph, before choosing to retire to raise his children. Since 2000, Jim has been a highly sought-after motivational speaker traveling the world inspiring audiences to follow their dreams and never give up.
In his latest book, “Dream Makers: Surround Yourself With the Best to Be Your Best,” Jim shares more of his incredible life story, including the people who helped make him the success he is today: his dream makers.
Jim has been honored to receive a Lifetime Achievement Award from the Bobby Bragan
Youth Foundation, a CAMIE (Character and Morality in Entertainment) Award for for “The Rookie,” and has been involved with BCFS, Arms of Hope, Texas Youth Commission and other philanthropic efforts. He launched his own foundation in 2015 giving back to underserved communities and children. Jim and his wife, Shawna, have raised five children and live near San Antonio.

Paul Long
“Highlighting Niche Insurance Coverages to Clients“
Paul Long has been a licensed insurance agent since 1999. Paul has had experience working for both captive and independent agencies and started The Paul Long Agency, LLC in 2006. Paul’s agency was acquired by Ollis/Akers/Arney Insurance & Business Advisors in 2018.
Paul is currently the vice president of business and association development for Ollis/Akers/Arney and also serves as a large commercial risk advisor specializing in business clients and public entity clients. Paul is the head of the public entity team for Ollis/Akers/Arney and collaborates with the Missouri Municipal League, Missouri Association of Counties, Midwest Public Risk and several other associations to enhance their understanding of insurance. He is a member of the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors (NAIFA) and received a designation as a Life Underwriter Training Council Fellow (LUTCF). Paul also received his designation of Professional Work Comp Advisor (PWCA).
Paul is very active in his community and was a third-generation Bolivar Area Chamber of Commerce president, a third-generation Bolivar Rotary Club president, a past president of Enterprises Unlimited (the local sheltered workshop), a founding board member of the Polk County Economic Coalition and president of the Mt. Gilead Cemetery Foundation. Paul is the chair of the Missouri Association of Insurance Agents MAC Summit Committee and was recognized as a 2019 Trusted Adviser by the Springfield Business Journal.
The Paul Long Agency was named Small Business of the Year in 2009, the first and only insurance agency to hold this honor by the Bolivar Area Chamber of Commerce. Paul started Long Investment Group in 2013, purchasing the Payne Implement Company, specializing in tractor parts sales/repair, and in 2015 started Long Farms, a working crop farm. Paul and his son, Nick, started Long Farms and Excavation in 2020.
Family is very important to Paul. He has been married to his wife, Brenda, for 34 years, and together they have two sons, a daughter, two daughters-in-law and three grandchildren.

Kevin Robbins
“Highlighting Niche Insurance Coverages to Clients“
Kevin Robbins joined Ollis/Akers/Arney in 2010 and utilizes his 30+ years of significant business consulting experience to coach Ollis/Akers/Arney advisors and clients through a process that removes roadblocks on the way to achieving their goals.
He specializes in strategic planning, resource development and identifying emerging risks. He holds a degree in business administration with a minor in marketing and is licensed in life, accident, health, property and casualty.

Brock Elliott
“The Imposter Problem – Why Playing Yourself Is the Ultimate Sales Advantage“
Brock Elliott is a third-generation independent insurance agent with over 12 years of experience in the industry. As a passionate advocate for independent agents, he has dedicated his career to fostering growth, innovation and leadership within the insurance community.
Brock has been recognized for his contributions to the industry, earning the Kansas Association of Insurance Agents (KAIA) Outstanding Young Agent Award in 2017 and the InsurPac Outstanding Young Agent Award in 2021. He has been an active leader within the KAIA, serving on the board since 2017 and currently holding the position of president-elect.
His leadership extends beyond his home state, having served as the Big “I” Young Agents Chair from 2022-2024 and as a member of the Big “I” Young Agents Committee from 2020-2024. Through these roles, he has worked to support agents nationwide, helping shape the future of independent insurance.
Beyond insurance, Brock enjoys spending time with his two sons, playing golf and attending live music events. His love and deep-rooted appreciation for independent agency success make him a unique and relatable voice in the industry.

Jason Rincker
“Cyber Clarity: Turning Confusion Into Confidence for Insurance Agents“
Jason Rincker is the chief revenue officer at Stronghold Data, where he’s always chasing the next big innovation—whether it’s securing businesses from cyber threats or helping them harness the power of artificial intelligence. With 29+ years of professional development experience, Jason has a gift for building relationships that drive success.
Through a collaborative team effort, Stronghold Data has earned recognition as a Channel Futures MSP 501 company and secured titles like MSP of the Year (2021, 2023) and Best MSP Cybersecurity Training Program from Channel Partner Insight. The company has also landed on the CRN MSP 500 list in consecutive years.
Jason has worked closely with major organizations like the Department of Homeland Security, Secret Service, University of Missouri and FBI, delivering insights on cybersecurity, AI and digital transformation. A sought-after speaker, he’s presented to Missouri’s government, financial and manufacturing associations, educating everyone from county officials to C-suite executives on technology’s evolving role in business and security.
When he’s not leading revenue growth or speaking at conferences, Jason is active in the community, coaching baseball, volunteering and networking. He also enjoys running and cycling—though, if you ask him, he’ll admit he doesn’t get to do it nearly as much as he should (something about needing more hours in the day).
Exhibitors
This conference offers companies, vendors and wholesalers 2 1/2 hours of exclusive time in front of Missouri agents in the exhibit hall. There are around 60 exhibitors, including both p-c and l-h insurance companies, wholesalers, technology vendors, etc.
The booth hours are from 10 a.m. – 12:30 p.m on Thursday. Company prize drawings begin at 12 p.m. Each individual working the booth must be registered; see registration tab for pricing. On average, this conference draws around 125 agents, 40 wholesalers and 160 company reps. Agents come from agencies of all sizes in both rural and urban areas around Missouri.
