Temporary Producer Licensure During Coronavirus
Through a joint effort with the Missouri Department of Commerce and
Insurance (DCI), temporary producer licensure is available while the Pearson
VUE examination centers are temporarily closed. The applicant will be allowed consideration for a temporary producer license even without passing a qualifying examination. The applicant must agree to have his/her activities closely monitored by a licensed producer within the agency, and that agent must attest to such as part of the application process. The applicant is still subject to the same scrutiny regarding background questions as regular applicants for licensure.
MAIA is appreciative that the Missouri Department of Commerce and Insurance worked with the association to address this challenge at this time.
parties should review DCI Bulletin 20-09
for specifics or call the MAIA office at 573-893-4301.
