After much consideration and input, we regret to inform you that this year's Small Agency Conference, which was to take place March 26 and 27, has been cancelled, as has the E&O class and the Crawfish Feast on Wednesday before the conference. This is unfortunate to say the least, considering the benefits the conference provides attendees and the massive amount of work that goes into planning a conference of this size. The health and safety of our members and guests are always of paramount importance to MAIA. Unfortunately, in light of current concern regarding the possible spread of illness, cancellation of the event has become our only option.
The National Alliance Classes (CIC, CISR):
The National Alliance (TNA) has instructed state associations to cancel all classes administered by TNA for the next thirty days. These classes include the Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) and Certified Insurance Service Representative (CISR) designation and update classes. This mandate will tentatively last until mid-April and will include the CISR Elements of Risk Management classes scheduled for April 7 and 9. We are looking to reschedule these events. We will provide more detail as they become available. At this time, the James K. Ruble seminar scheduled to be conducted April 22 and 23 is not affected. However, we will continue to monitor the current situation and provide updates on all future classes. Please contact TNA Client Support at 800-633-2165 or email@example.com for information on extensions.
All attendees and class participants will receive separate communication regarding refunds or the transfer of registration fees.
Please be sure to contact the hotel directly to cancel hotel rooms.
Thank you for your understanding during this time, as well as your continued support of the Missouri Association of Insurance Agents. As always, if you have any questions, our staff will be happy to assist you. Please call 573-893-4301 or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
