Regular Agency Membership
REGULAR AGENCY MEMBERSHIP ELIGIBILITY Regular agency membership is available to all legal insurance entities that have their business addresses within the state of Missouri and that do business as sole proprietorships, partnerships, corporations or other business organizations licensed by the Missouri Department of Insurance to act as insurance agencies or brokerages and that operate within the American Agency System. REGULAR AGENCY MEMBERSHIP DUES Membership dues are based on the number of agency employees and locations. Dues are paid on an annual basis and membership runs on a calendar year basis beginning the first of the month that we receive your application. For a schedule of dues, see the membership application on the right. WHAT'S INCLUDED
ACTIVE AGENCY MEMBERSHIP = CE CREDITS Agency personnel who are active (attend classes, conferences, meetings, and other activities hosted by MAIA) in the association receive 4 hours of CE credit in consideration for the time they spend participating in association activities. This credit can only be applied to your education record once during any given two-year licensure period. This credit can save your agency hundreds, if not thousands, of dollars over the course of one or more years, not to mention the valuable industry information and training provided by becoming and remaining active in the association. Make sure your agency personnel sign up for and attend a multitude of MAIA-hosted events and classes to receive the CE credit for their insurance producer license.
